There is nothing better than seeing members of our community moving into homes they can afford. Recently we were lucky enough to witness just that. Nine wonderful families completed the building process in our 'Ele'ele Iluna subdivision and were handed the keys to their new homes. Many of them had their trucks already loaded and began moving in right away....

We have been blessed once again to be visited by a volunteer group from Trinity Western University! Trinity Western is a private Christian liberal arts university in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. These amazing college students are being led by Allan and Sylvia Kotanen and have spent more than a week working on various construction projects in our 'Ele'ele Iluna subdivision....

Today we had to say farewell to one of our amazing AmeriCorps members, Maddi, who just completed her 10 1/2 months of service at Kaua'i Habitat for Humanity. AmeriCorps members donate their time helping others and addressing critical needs in the community. We are so grateful that Maddi helped us tackle the affordable housing crisis by working alongside our staff...
