On Saturday, May 6th, 2017 more than 20 female volunteers spent the day building homes and hope with Kaua`i Habitat! It was all part of Habitat for Humanity's National Women Build week sponsored by Lowe's Home Improvement. The entire day was a big success!! Our visiting Global Village team was treated to a delicious gourmet dinner courtesy of local chef Kui Souza! Kui is the culinary arts teacher at Waimea High School. We were thrilled when he graciously volunteered to prepare the meal for the 11 member team. Everyone loved the meal and cultural experience. A huge Mahalo Kui! ...
