We are thrilled to have another AmeriCorps service member joining us to build homes and hope on Kaua’i! Mackenzie Hampson will be spending 10.5 months serving the Kaua’i community as a volunteer crew leader with our construction team. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland before attending college in Charleston, South Carolina; Mackenzie enjoys reading, hiking, going to the beach and hanging out with friends. She will fit in nicely with our island community. AmeriCorps is a national service program where members commit their time to address critical community needs, like our islands need for affordable housing. We are so grateful for Mackenzie for serving our community!
