Walls go up in ‘Ele’ele

Another beautiful week brings progress in the construction of affordable housing for the hardworking families on Kaua’i! Just this week we saw the walls go up on the future home of the Evans ‘ohana, all while work was being done on three other lots in the subdivision.

Construction Site Supervisor Robert Knowles worked alongside homebuyers, AmeriCorps service members and core volunteers as the home began taking shape. Nearby, Construction Site Supervisor Josh Rivera kept construction moving along at the Kaleiohi, Bacio and Robyn job sites.

We are very proud that our construction staff has been able to keep production not only going but thriving during this difficult time. Despite all the changes they have had to undergo, they have managed to keep the dream of homeownership alive for the hard working families on island.
