There’s something special about coming together as a community—and few events capture that spirit better than the annual Kaua‘i Charity Walk.
On Saturday, May 2, 2026, residents, families, businesses, and nonprofits from across the island will gather at the Vidinha Stadium Soccer Field for one of Kaua‘i’s most meaningful traditions. Registration begins at 6:00 a.m., with the run starting at 7:00 a.m. and the walk following at 7:05 a.m.
A Tradition of Giving Back
Organized by the Hawai‘i Lodging & Tourism Association, the Charity Walk has been uplifting local communities since the 1970s. Today, it stands as Hawai‘i’s largest single-day fundraising event by a nonprofit, raising more than $47 million statewide to support essential services.
What makes this event even more impactful? Every dollar raised on Kaua‘i stays on Kaua‘i, directly benefiting our island’s families and neighbors.
Last year alone, the Kaua‘i Charity Walk raised over $620,000 for more than 60 local nonprofits, and this year’s goal is even higher—$700,000 to meet the growing needs in our community.
