06 Aug Rotary Club comes through for Habitat
As most of you know, after historic rainfall on the north shore of Kaua’i in April, residents in that area are struggling to put the pieces back together. Fortunately, when hardship strikes; compassion and the generosity of neighbors strike back. When the Rotary Club of Hanalei Bay supporters wanted to help by directing their donations to a worthy organization, the club led by Ben Gillikin chose to assist Kaua’i Habitat for Humanity in our flood recovery efforts. The Rotary Club of Hanalei Bay presented a gift of more than $26,000 to Kaua’i Habitat which will help facilitate repairs to low-income households that were damaged by the devastating floods. We couldn’t be more grateful to Rotary Club and all those who have stepped up to ensure that everyone has a safe and decent place to live.
