03 May Outstanding Older American

We are so proud that our very own Guy Ambrose has been nominated as one of the Agency on Elderly Affairs Outstanding Older Americans. Those nominated are being recognized for making significant contributions to our island and its residents. Today, May 3, 2019, the Office of the Mayor and the Agency on Elderly Affairs will be hosting a ceremony and luncheon to honor the nominees and select one male and one female to be selected as the Outstanding Older American and represent Kaua’i at a state ceremony on O’ahu. We have our fingers crossed!
Guy is so deserving as he has selflessly dedicated his time and talents to Kaua’i Habitat for Humanity since 2010 and has been instrumental in strengthening our organizations operations. He began by assisting our construction staff with various projects and over the years worked closely with our coordinators to develop an efficient system for picking up donated goods from different parts of the island. We could not be happier seeing him recognized for all the great things he does for us. Congratulations Guy!
