Your Donations Build More Than Homes – They Build Hope
When you donate gently used items to the Kaua‘i Habitat for Humanity ReStore, you’re doing more than clearing out space, you’re making a real difference in the lives of families right here on island. Every sale made in our ReStore helps fund the construction of affordable housing on Kaua‘i, making homeownership a reality for hardworking local individuals and families.
We are incredibly grateful to our community of donors. Your continued support helps reduce waste, recycle valuable materials, and create a more sustainable Kaua‘i – all while helping build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.
To help us make the most of your donations, please follow our updated donation guidelines and schedule:
🕘 Donations are accepted Thursdays and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM only.
This schedule allows our small but mighty team to give each donation the care and attention it deserves.
📦 Use our DIY Donation Station:
- Items must be clean, free of stains, tears, rust, and grime, and in resalable or reusable condition.
- Please bag or box your donations before placing them in the appropriate bin. If you need a bag, we’re happy to provide one.
- Do not leave items on the floor. If your donation doesn’t fit in the bin, our staff is available to assist—just give us a call or stop in during donation hours.
- Remember to fill out a donation form: Drop the top copy in the designated box and keep the bottom copy as your receipt.
