Kaua’i Habitat is planning a project with 35 affordable rentals and over 30 affordable single family homes in Waimea behind the Tech Center. We are in the process of doing an environment assessment and will be having a meeting from 6 to 8 pm, Monday evening August 20th, at the Waimea Neighborhood Center, 4556 Makeke Road, Waimea, HI 96796.
For anyone interested in seeing this project come to fruition, PLEASE, attend and show your support for affordable housing in Waimea. This is a very important meeting as the results will determine whether this project will move forward.
