This Thanksgiving we want to take the opportunity to say Thank You to all the people that do so much for Kaua‘i Habitat for Humanity. We couldn’t do what we do without the help of everyone that pitches in to ensure that everyone has a safe, decent and affordable place to live. Our volunteers do so much. Whether it’s working alongside the homeowners doing construction, helping get the word out with our mailings in the office, or cleaning and organizing our ReStore® to generate funds for our programs, our wonderful volunteers give of themselves over and over again. Mahalo! Our constituents keep us going. It’s the donations and generosity of our supporters that keep our lights on and our door open. Without your continued generosity 150 families on Kaua‘i would not be able to say they own their own home. Mahalo! Of course we could never forget our advocates. The people that keep our name out there and share the news of our events and achievements. Without you the need for affordable housing would go unnoticed. Mahalo!
