Despite the weather, a lot is getting done at our jobsite this week thanks to the wonderful volunteers from Trinity Western University! For several years team leaders, Allan and Sylvia Kotanen have visited our island from Canada with students from Trinity Western University to help us build homes and hope. This year they returned with 22 students and spent the week roofing and painting the interiors of two homes in our ‘Ele’ele Iluna subdivision. Thanks to the Kotanen’s leadership their groups always arrive motivated and enthusiastic and impress us with all they get done during their visit. The most recent group of students did not disappoint. We are so grateful for all of their hard work. The students even made it into our local newspaper, The Garden Island, in the Happy Campers section.
