28 Apr KHfH Celebrates National Volunteer Week
Since 1974, one week a year has been set aside to recognize the amazing impact volunteers make in transforming the world. Afterall, they often tackle society’s greatest challenges by lending their time, talent and voice to making a difference in their communities.
At Kaua’i Habitat for Humanity we have been truly blesses by our amazing volunteers. They continually help address the housing crisis on island by building homes, communities and hope with us. Whether it’s working alongside our homebuyers at the construction site, working at our ReStore, or spreading the word of our cause, these amazing people deserve so much more recognition than they ever receive.
So this National Volunteer week, April 17-23, 2022, we made it point to just stop, take a moment to say thank you, and offer a small token of our appreciation to these amazing individuals. It’s nowhere near enough, but we could never do enough to say thank you for all they do for us, the families we serve, and our wonderful island community.
