“I’ve been an advocate, donor, and supporter of Kaua`i Habitat since 2011 and as President of the Kauai Board of Realtors initiated a fundraising campaign to fully fund a home in `Ele`ele Iluna. It is now my pleasure and privilege to give back to our community further as the new president of the Board of Directors of this impactful organization,” said Donna Rice. “We have much ahead of us, with over 140 new homes to build spread across our island from the West side to the North shore, including a flood recovery re-build in Wainiha. We shall soon break ground on the East side at Kauhale O Waipouli, at Ala Namahana in Kilauea, at Pu`u Maluhia in Kalaheo and continue to build in Waimea, while planning future builds in Lawai, Eleele, and with DHHL in Anahola.  We continue to locate opportunities for future housing for our local residents and donations to support our builds.”

Executive Director Milani Pimental stated, “I’m thrilled to be working with the dedicated members of our Board of Directors as we strive to continue our work of providing truly affordable housing opportunities for Kaua`i.”
