We hope to open another housing offering in 2022. If you didn’t submit a form for the current offering, please make sure you keep your contact information updated with us so we can notify you of future opportunities. For updates to contact information, email us at homeownerservices@kauaihabitat.org. And yes, with EACH housing offering, you MUST submit a new form, as critical household information such as household size, income, etc. does change over time.

Program Eligibility Form submission process (deadline has now passed):

Program Eligibility Form submission process (deadline has now passed):

STEP 1:

Complete the Virtual Homebuyer Information Session by clicking the “Register for Virtual Homebuyer Info Session” button below and registering your information to gain access to the video. Like the in-person meetings we used to hold prior to the pandemic, you will learn about Kauai Habitat program qualifications, benefits of Habitat homeownership, the Habitat self-help model, and the loan process. It will take about 30-40 minutes.

STEP 2:

Check your email! After completing the Virtual Homebuyer Information Session video, the Program Eligibility Form will be sent to you by email for you to complete. (Please check your junk email folder if you do not see a response in your inbox.)

STEP 3:

Confirm your interest in the current Housing Offering. Send your completed Program Eligibility Form back to our office no later than the stated due date. Forms received after the due date will NOT be including in this Housing Offering.

How to submit your Program Eligibility Form:

Your Program Eligibility Form may be mailed to our post office box, emailed to our housing offering email address, or dropped off in our mail slot at the administrative office entrance in Hanapepe. Due to the pandemic, our office is currently closed to the public – individuals will not be allowed inside.

Drop Off to Administrative Office

1-3410 Kaumualii Hwy., Hanapepe

Administrative offices are located next door to ReStore in Hanapepe (across from Salt Pond Country Store). Look for the wheelchair ramp entrance and drop in mail drop slot on lower right side of door. Individuals will not be admitted into the office due to COVID-19 restrictions. Forms will NOT be accepted at ReStore – submit using the mail drop slot ONLY.
