25 Aug 2022 Visitor Industry Charity Walk Fun
Fun was had by all at the 2022 Visitor Industry Charity Walk. It was nice to see the return of the annual event after being cancelled the past two years due to the pandemic. Kaua’i Habitat was happy to participate and raise funds for the event that will share it’s proceeds with the many nonprofits on island that work endlessly to serve our community.
In addition to walking to raise money, Kaua’i Habitat also held a hotdog and bake sale and sold mystery bags and boxes in the ReStore. An informational booth was also displayed to share information about Kaua’i Habitat’s mission and programs with the community. “It felt good to be able to support such a great cause,” stated Tiffani Carlin who served as Kaua’i Habitat’s Charity Walk project organizer, “We’ll definitely participate again next year.”
