A‘ohe hana nui ka alu‘ia.  No task is too big when done together. ~ ‘Ōlelo no‘eau, Hawaiian proverb

Volunteers Play an Important Role

Volunteers are an integral component of our work. They have built over 500,000 homes around the world with Habitat for Humanity.

On Kaua‘i, individual volunteers and volunteer groups have helped build over 100 affordable homes and repaired over 20 substandard homes. Volunteer labor, along with donated materials and private contributions, enables Kaua‘i Habitat for Humanity to keep costs low and continue building homes that are truly affordable for needy families.

Kaua‘i Habitat for Humanity welcomes volunteers in individual and group capacities.
