Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

How did you celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. day of service? Our AmeriCorps service members spend 10 1/2 months of their year serving our community by building homes and hope with us. But on this special day of giving service they took the day off from building homes to volunteer at the Kauai Humane Society. They made a new friend “Max” and took him on a much needed field trip.
