It’s so hard to say goodbye. Especially when it’s to a group of wonderful people that traveled here to help us build homes and hope on Kaua‘i. We are so grateful for all the hard work and support that Thrivent Team Heine has given us over the past week. It was no easy task, as they installed a dust fence in Anahola and painted a house in our ‘Ele‘ele Iluna subdivision. All this was done with the spirit of aloha. A big MAHALO Thrivent Team! We truly appreciate you and all you have done for our community.
Tropic Care is currently on island offering free basic medical care. This is a great opportunity for many on island residence to receive services that they may not normally have access to. Bus service to Tropic Care locations is also free. Services offered include physical exams, eye exams, eyeglasses, dental exams, tooth extractions and fillings. We just wanted to share this information with the community and encourage anyone in need of these services to attend.
Please join us in welcoming Shana Cruz to the Kaua‘i Habitat ‘ohana as our new Volunteer Coordinator! Once again we are blessed to have a wonderful group of individuals visiting us as part of a Global Village Thrivent team! These generous souls will be spending the bulk of their week installing dust fencing in Anahola! We are so grateful to have them here building homes and hope on the garden island.
