Hope for the Future

HopeI love stories where people overcome obstacles and reach success. Here is a great example as one family loses everything in a tsunami and with the help of Habitat for Humanity rebuilds a better future for all. Click here to read the Habitat World article on one families new hope filled future.

Why we do what we do

DSCN1889Children grow up safer, happier and healthier in a home of their own. Everyone deserves to grow up with a safe and decent place to live. It’s great to know these two will grow up playing in their new home in Kekaha. This is just one of the reasons why we do what we do at Kaua‘i Habitat for Humanity.

Volunteer Spotlight

DSC01222 (2)A great big MAHALO to volunteer and Kaua‘i Habitat home owner Vern Kauanui for the beautiful work he did creating lei for the House Dedication and Key Passing Ceremony this past week. The ceremony was held at the Eguchi home in Kekaha on Friday and those attending were amazed at the beauty of the lei. Uncle Vern you are a man of many talents!DSCN1884
