Kaua`i Habitat Celebrates National Women Build Week

National Women Build Week

Kaua`i Habitat’s 2nd Lowe’s Women Build event is Saturday May 11 from 8a-3p. Kaua‘i wahine volunteers will work on the Beniamina home in Kekaha, performing critical repairs to make it safe and livable once again. Activities include repairs to the interior such as: tear-out and demolition, framing, and siding installation. 10 more spots on the Women Build crew are still available! Contact Jessica today at 808-335-0296 x152 or volunteer@kauaihabitat.org.

More than 10,000 women are expected to volunteer at Habitat for Humanity construction sites across the country in recognition of National Women Build Week, May 4-12. Now in its sixth year, National Women Build Week challenges women to devote at least one day to help build affordable housing in their local communities.
