A L O H A to volunteers Tina Metts and Sandie Roberts who just arrived to Kaua`i from Biloxi! This dynamic duo will be joining volunteers Guy Ambrose, Jeannette McDonald, Mark Pressly and our Habitat crew to finish laying sheathing on the roof of our current build in Anahola! Next task scheduled for this week: shingling.
Are you roofing too? Quick tips: Getting up on ladders can be a challenge for many of us. When on your ladder, be sure not to ‘over reach’ to either side. As a guide, keep your belt buckle between the rails. Also, stay safe once on the roof by wearing shoes with good traction, such as rubber-sold shoes/boots.
Happy Fat Tuesday!
